Bolton-based Signature Soaps an artisan producer of handmade soaps wanted a waterproof label designing for their range of shaving soaps. The new metal tin would give the product a retro feel and a label was wanted to match.
The client has a small label printer so the design had to incorporate a blank area where the pre-printed labels could be run through and the type of soap added to the artwork prior to fitting to the batch tins.
Using the client’s current colours Charger designed a series of labels and set the artwork against actual images of tins to give the client a feel for how the designs would look in real life. the design chosen it immediately went into production with an order of 2000 waterproof labels.
